Apache County Board of Supervisors Meeting – January 5, 2010

The Apache County Board of Supervisors is holding their bi-monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at 8:30 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Room, located in the County Annex Building, 75 W. Cleveland Street in St. Johns.  Items of interest to Concho, AZ residents are:

3.  A/D CONSENT ITEMS: All items indicated by an asterisk (*) will be handled by a single vote as part of the consent agenda, unless a Board Member, County Manager, or member of the public objects at the time the agenda item is called.

Engineering:
*F. Request authorization to solicit bids on yearly basis for magnesium chloride, cattle guards and culverts.
*G. Request authorization to solicit bids for a used steel wheel roller for District II.

Community Development:
*I.
Request appointment of Patsy Plant as a member of the Planning & Zoning Commission, for a term of four years.

6.  A/D Emergency Management Department: Request approval to accept a $30,000 grant (Agreement 44100-04) from the Department of Homeland Security for planning.
7.  A/D Recorder’s Office: Request authorization to accept a HAVA (Help America Vote Act) grant funding in the amount of $2,374.00.

9.  A/D Engineering Department: Request authorization to solicit bids for a pump, pipe, control boxes, wire, etc., for the Chinle Well project.

11.  A/D Engineering Department: Request authorization to add roads in Concho West Shores into the County Road Maintenance System.
12.  A/D County Manager: Request authorization to offer a $120.00 health insurance refund/incentive to all  eligible employees who participate in all 2010 Wellness Program events.
