Concho American Legion Post 130 is Looking for You!
The American Legion was chartered by the U.S. Congress in 1919 as a patriotic, war-time veterans organization of the United States armed forces who served during a wartime period. The group was founded by veterans returning from Europe after World War I.
It is a not-for-profit community service organization which member numbers are nearly 3 million strong across the United States. Member of all military branch; men and women alike. These members are actively involved in nearly 15,000 American Legion posts worldwide.
The American Legion members are active helping their communities by organizing commemorative events and volunteer activities.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Concho American Legion Post 130, come and visit one of the monthly meetings at the Concho Valley Country Club.
Meet are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. American Legion Post 130 is always looking for a few good men and women who are looking to make a difference in their community.
