So what’s happening in Unit 6 ?? That’s quite an increase in beginning list price. Is that because it is for bigger lots ?? Thanks in advance.

    Javier.

Is ther anything going on with the proposed concho lake shore development?

  • butch:

Lake front? You mean “weed” front don’t you? :-P Almost zero water in the so called lake. Very sad.

  • Dominic:

why is it a “weed” front? I thought it was fed by a natural spring. What causes the water levels to drop?

  • QuoVat:

Unit 10, what up with this area?

    Hi,

I have 2 acres of land in Concho Lakeland 5 and would like to have it used. I would be grateful if interested parties could contact me on faisel@hotmail.co.uk. I am very eager to use the land to help the community as I’m sure we could all do with a little extra help more so as I visited the area about 4-5 years ago and absolutely loved it. I am open to any ideas and look forward to your views. Best wishes faisel :-D

Hey Dominic, the reason for the Lake becoming weeds, well the farmers in Old Concho have 100% of the water rights, and drain the lake for their farms. Even if they aren’t farming any more. They just dump the water. Sad! :-(

  • Butch: You’ve seen the “lake”…there is NO water to dump, there is no lake. Our “lakefront” property is dirtfront property.

  • butch:

Shellee, that’s because it gets drained in the summer by the farmers. then by Spring, fishing again until the flood gates are opened. I met some folks from Holbrook one Spring, the lake was full and they caught 3 trout while I was talking to them. ;-)
