  • Wish I coulkd be there!

  • How long has the farmers market been going?

  • CarolBEE:

The Farmer’s Market opened in May and runs through the end of October.

  • Thanks Carol. I mean how long has it been the farmers market? Is it like a old time tradition or something new in the area? I mean like is it the 50th year of the Concho Farmers Market? I know they have one in Show low Now But it is very small. And hard to get in and out of.

    Here’s some info George
The Concho Farmer’s Market has started it’s 5th season and we had a great time with our first festival, Barn Yard Critters Day, which was June 6th, see their website for more information:

I also looked through Pauline Baca’s book, didn’t see anything about about the market, but lots of history in her book, loved the pictures. ;-)

Oh, we loaned Maggie our copy, if anyone is interested, check out Club 61, she’ll be there.

BTW, there is a guy who sells relish and other condiments at Jiffy Store, worth a try, goes great on a Nathan’s. No George, I am not getting compensated for this recommendation.
